About the Event

 The Los Angeles Albert Schweitzer Fellows are planning our annual symposium to be held at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA on Sunday, January 26, 2020 from 8:30AM-12PM. Symposium seeks to encourage collaborative action to minimize health disparities and address the quality of health services in our communities. This year's theme is 'Achieving Mental Health Equity'. We will be covering a variety of topics including health & wellness and working with underserved populations.  

I will be a panelist  on “The State of Pediatric and Youth Mental Health” with Joseph Lucero (Outreach Speaker at Homeboy Industries), Dr. Eraka Bath (Child, Adolescent & Adult Forensic Psychiatrist at UCLA), and Dr. Angela Venegas (Pediatrician and Health Service Researcher at Charles R.
